Who are we? The stories we collect and tell about ourselves may be a big part of the answer. In this video, I've collected the stories of my photography outings over a few days in my town on Cape Cod.
In his wonderful book, The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat, Oliver Sacks wrote that each of us has a life story or an inner narrative that is our life. He explained that each of us actually constructs and lives this inner narrative and that it is what makes us unique individuals. Sacks observed that, biologically, humans are pretty similar. It is our stories that make us different.
