Playing with my camera on a sunny day in the garden. I was using a Nikon D7000 with a 105 mm macro lens. I couldn't get the shutter speed to be faster than 250 so the bee's wings aren't "frozen." I should spend more time reading the manual.
The camera was on a tripod and manually focused on this particular flower. I waited, in the sun, until a bee arrived. I used a cable release to avoid shaking the camera and a ring flash on the lens.
